Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said Income Declaration Scheme <br/>is part of government's strategy to maintain stability of tax policy and bring down corporate tax to globally competitive levels. <br/><br/>Speaking at a workshop organised by FICCI in New Delhi, the Minister expressed confidence that many people will avail of the opportunity. <br/><br/>He said the Scheme provides an opportunity to the domestic black money holders to declare their undisclosed income. <br/><br/>Mr Jaitley said the dynamics of relationship between tax assessee and Income Tax department is undergoing a change. He stressed the need to eliminate apprehensions and fears. <br/><br/>Mr Jaitley also said a tax violator cannot be given better facility than an honest tax payer.
