Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said that the Government is not planning to impose any long term Capital Gains Tax. <br/><br/>Talking to reporters on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi, he said, the interpretation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech regarding long term capital gains on security transactions is completely erroneous. Mr Jaitley also clarified that government has neither taken any decision nor held any discussion in this regard.
