Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has assured Andhra Pradesh of the Centre's continuous support in the State's overall development.<br/><br/>He was extending greetings to the farmers of Tulluru mandal of Guntur district, who provided lands for the construction of new Capital city of the State, after laying the foundation stone for the permanent buildings of the Administrative Complex of the State Government at Lingayapalem village, along with Union Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu.<br/><br/>Mr. Jaitley said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had earlier developed and remodeled Hyderabad to a world class city and hoped that he would do wonders in the construction of Amaravathi, as well. <br/><br/>He assured the people of the State that the Centre would honour every commitment made in the bifurcation act. <br/><br/>Mr. Jaitley said that the Special Package made for the State not only does contain all the provisions that is expected of in the Special Status but something more. He said already several Central institutions have started functioning in the state within two-and-half years of NDA government coming to power and some more institutions are in the pipeline. <br/><br/>Addressing on the issue of Polavaram Project, which has been declared as a national project, the FM assured that it would be completed within the stipulated time limit.<br/><br/>Union Minister for Urban Development and Information Broadcasting M. Venkaiah Naidu lauding the initiative, drive and vision of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu for the arduous task he has undertaken. <br/><br/><br/>The Union Ministers also laid the foundation stone for the Reserve Bank of India's regional office and underground drainage system for Guntur, Vijayawada's storm water drainage system and capital road network for Amaravathi besides the new Administrative Complex.
