Arun Jaitley accuses Rahul Gandhi of spreading falsehood on Rafale

<span style="color: #222222;">Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday rebutted Congress President Rahul Gandhi's charges on Rafale deal saying some people have a natural aversion to the truth. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He was intervening in the debate on the issue immediately after Rahul Gandhi's speech in Lok Sabha. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Jaitley accused the UPA of playing with the security of the country. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Initiating the debate post lunch, Mr Gandhi said he raised fundamental questions of process, pricing and patronage of Rafale deal and questioned why not a single aircraft landed till now. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During the intervention of Mr Jaitley, Congress members trooped into the well demanding JPC on the issue. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Briefing reporters in New Delhi on Wednesday evening, Mr Gandhi asked the government how the price of aircraft has been inflated from Rs 526 crore to Rs 1,600 crore.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, if the prices of Rafale deal was brought down as claimed by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley then why the government did not purchase 126 or more aircraft.</span><br />''
