In Madhya Pradesh, Union water resources minister Uma Bharti today appeared before a Bhopal court in connection with a defamation case filed by former chief minister Digvijay Singh.<br/><br/> Earlier, the court had issued an arrest warrant against her for not appearing in the court. Later it was stayed by the district court. Today, the court cancelled the arrest warrant.<br/><br/> Talking to media, Uma Bharti said she will not apologize to Mr. Singh and will never compromise with corruption. During state assembly elections, Uma Bharti had leveled charges of corruption against Digvijay Singh.
