Elaborate arrangements have been made for by-poll to be held on Sunday in seven assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. The constituencies are Adilabad, Kamareddy, Mahaboobnagar, Nagarkurnool, Kollapur, Station Ghanpur and Kovur. About 13 lakh 81 thousand voters are eligible to exercise their franchise.Polling will begin at 8 in the morning and continue till 5 in the evening at over 1600 polling stations. A total 67 candidates are in the fray. While the Congress and the Telugu Desam party are contesting at all the seven constituencies, Telangana Rastra Samithi is in the fray at 5 segments and CPM in 4 places. The BJP is contesting from one seat and Lok Satta in two places. State Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwarlal said all measures have been taken to ensure free and fair poll on Sunday.
