Around Rs 2,66,000 crore spent during last six years for development of NE states, says DONER Minister G Kishan Reddy

<span style="color: #222222;">Around two lakh 66 thousand crore rupees have been spent during the last six years for the development of North Eastern States. This was stated by Development of North Eastern Region Minister G. Kishan Reddy in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today.<br />''The Minister said, important initiatives have been taken by the Central Government for improving air, rail, road, power, waterways and telecom connectivity in the North Eastern States. He said, these initiatives have accelerated the development of the region. He said, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region has also taken steps to bridge the social and physical infrastructure gaps and facilitate development of the North Eastern Region on a large scale. </span><br />
