At least 25 people have been killed due to Tropical Storm Julia in parts of Central America and southern Mexico. El Salvadoran officials said that 10 people, including five soldiers were killed in the Storm related incidents and more than 1,000 people were evacuated. In Panama, two deaths were reported and around 300 evacuations.<br />'' <br />'' At least eight people were killed in Guatemala. According to media reports, a million people in Nicaragua were left without electricity as a result of storm Julia. More than 13,000 households were also forced to evacuate due to flooding and severe rain in the country.<br />'' <br />'' The US National Hurricane Center has said that by Monday afternoon Julia weakened and what was remained of the storm was travelling northwest at 24 kilometer per hour across Guatemala, near the border with Mexico.<br />''The center also warned that the El Salvador and Guatemala's coastlines could see life-threatening surf and rip conditions.
