<span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Thaawar Chand Gehlot has said that around 19 lakh Divyang persons are benefitted from various schemes of the Central Government in the last six years. Various equipment amounting to 1,100 crore rupees are distributed among them. He was speaking after the foundation stone laying ceremony of the hostel building at Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech and Hearing Disabilities in Mumbai.<br />''<br />''In Phase one, a four-storey hostel will be constructed which will have around 30 rooms and accommodate 60 students. It is targeted to complete construction by next year. In Phase two, a total of eight-storey buildings will be constructed which will benefit around 140 students of the institute.</span><br />
