Centre has said that around 18 lakh people have been trained so far under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY). Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Rajiv Pratap Rudy informed this in a written reply in Rajya Sabha today. He said, under the scheme, more than two lakh 37 thousand minority candidates have been trained. <br/><br/>Mr Rudy said, the ministry had constituted a working group to explore feasibility for setting up National Skills Universities across the country. The Minister said, working group has submitted its report along with the draft bill and it is under inter-ministerial consultation.
