In Haryana, around 1500 acres of crop were submerged in water, due to the around 100 feet breach that occured yesterday night in the Sukhchain canal subsidiary of Main Bhakhra Canal near Lohgarh in Fatehabad district. According to official spokesman of the Irrigation department, the breach have been plugged and it took around 12 hours to complete the relief work. People however complained that their crop have been damaged due to the negligence.
