Around 15 lakh Kisan credit cards sanctioned to eligible dairy farmers: Purushottam Rupala

<span style="color: #222222;">Around 15 lakh Kisan credit cards have been sanctioned to the eligible dairy farmers associated with milk cooperatives and milk producer companies in the country till 25th march of this year. These cards have credit facilities amounting to 10,974 crore rupees.<br />''<br />''In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Minister of fisheries, animal husbandry and dairying Purushottam Rupala said that the government also organized a special drive for providing KCC to the dairy farmers. He further informed the house that the average milk procurement price paid to farmers for milk has been increased from 37.38 rupees per kg in February 2021 to 39.93 rupees per kg in February 2022.</span><br />
