Kerala Finance and Housing Minister K.M.Mani said that about 12 lakh dwelling units will be built during the 12th five year plan in the state. He said, an investment of 15,000 crore is needed for the same. Addressing a seminar organized by State Housing Board in Thiruvananthapuram as part of the World Habitat Day today the Minister added that the new housing policy of the state will focus on special requirements of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes and the economically weaker sections.
