<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">Around 100 Durga Puja organisers participated with their idols and performers on Red Road Kolkata in the Puja carnival this evening. The carnival continued from 4 pm till 8 pm. In the one-day event, organised by the State Tourism Department, the puja committees from across the city and Howrah showcased their Durga idols along with song and dance performances. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, cabinet members, a&nbsp;galaxy of stars from the areas of Film, Art, Culture, and Sports, and people from different districts participated in the event. The Chief Minister reached the Red Road by 3:30 p.m. The special attraction of the day's carnival was the dance of Sourav Ganguly's wife and dancer Donna Ganguly and the students of her school Dikshamanjari. The song to which Donna and her co-stars danced was penned by the Chief Minister herself and sung by Monomoy Bhattacharya.</span></p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">One after another the best puja tableaus appeared on the red road with their idols. However, the police kept an eye on this carnival so that the common people did not face any inconvenience.
