Nearly 1.53 lakh cases related to civil and revenue matters were settled at the National Lok Adalat organised across the country on Saturday.<br/> <br/>Of the settled cases, 47 thousand are pending matters and over one lakh cases are of pre-litigation matters.<br/><br/>The Lok Adalat was organised in all courts including District Courts and High Courts of the States except Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.<br/><br/>According to the National Legal Services Authority,the total value of settled cases was to the tune of around Rs. 100 crore.<br/><br/>It said, the exercise has resulted in a remarkable success due to all out efforts put in by the State Legal Services Authorities as well as the High Court Legal Services Committees.<br/>
