Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary has said about 1.43 crore Sukanya Samriddhi Accounts have been opened in the country over a period of two years and seven months since 1st April 2018. In a written answer in the Lok Sabha, he said Uttar Pradesh tops the chart followed by Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.
