Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has said that Army will never allow anti-India activities to succeed at any cost. Addressing the Army Day parade function in New Delhi, he said Pakistan is continuously flouting ceasefire violation norms.<br/><br/>General Rawat said Army is giving befitting reply and if forced it will escalate its operations against terror groups. He said, targeting of Amarnath pilgrims, attacking policemen and Army personnel from Jammu and Kashmir, including murder of Lt Ummer Fayaz, were attempts to attack national unity and divide the society.<br/><br/>He said the Army is working closely with other security forces to maintain pressure on terrorists. He also cautioned to remain alert against the misuse of social media by the enemies. General Rawat also said that disputes along the Line of Actual Control on northern borders are continuing and the Army is trying to stop the transgressions. Chief of Army staff General Bipin Rawat inspected the parade at Cariappa Parde Ground in Delhi Cantonment. General Rawat also presented 15 Sena medals to army personnel including 5 posthumously for commendable performance.<br/><br/>The 70th Army Day is being celebrated today.
