The government today expressed the hope that the army will be de-requisitioned from the Kashmir valley in the next few days. Speaking exclusively to AIR, the Home Secretary, Mr. G.K. Pillai said that the situation is improving and the curfew is also holding well. <br/><br/>He said that the curfew will be relaxed today and tomorrow and even if some miscreants try to create trouble, there are adequate number of Para-military forces and police to maintain law and order. <br/><br/>He also said LeT, Hizbul Mujahideen and the Hurriat elements have been making efforts to disturb the peace and create public disorder as the number of tourists to the state has more than doubled this year as compared to last year. <br/><br/>He also said that a number of intercepts clearly point out that large sums of money is being sent to create trouble and to indulge in stone pelting in the valley. He also said that 12 cases of illegitimate sources of money have come to light and action has been taken in this regard.
