The Army has said that a joint investigation along with Chennai Police, is being conducted to ascertain facts into the shooting of a 13-year old boy. The boy had reportedly strayed into Army area when he was shot by one unidentified person. The boy later died. The Army spokesperson in New Delhi on Monday said that stringent action will be taken against the guilty. He said, in the meantime, police have interrogated two boys separately. AIR Correspondent reports that it is not clear how the boy got shot, whether by a civilian, or by police who have a post nearby or by any defence personnel.
