Army said, it has received the report of a probe committee that has reportedly recommended disciplinary action against four General-ranking officers in connection with Darjeeling land scam case.<br/> <br/>An army spokesman said in a statement, the proceedings of the inquiry will now be analysed as per the existing Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with the military law. Lt General Avadesh Prakash, Lt Gen P K Rath, Lt Gen Ramesh Halgali and Major Gen P C Sen are the officers who are under a scanner for issuing a No-Objection Certificate for sale of a plot of land near the Sukhna Army Station. The spokesman did not give details of the recommendations.<br/> <br/>Reports, however, suggest that the Court of Inquiry has recommended termination of services of Lt General Prakash, Military Secretary at the Army headquarters for unduly influencing the transfer of the civilian land adjacent to Sukhna military station to a private institution.
