Army searching militants in Beri Rakh forests in Poonch

<br/>In Jammu and Kashmir, search operations launched by the Army in Beri Rakh forests of Mendhar in Poonch district to track down militants is continuing for the sixth day today. The operation was launched by Army’s 37 Rashtriya Rifles troops on the 13th of this month following information that a group of militants has infiltrated from across the border into Beri Rakh forests of Mendhar to create large scale disturbances and violence in Jammu and Kashmir.<br/><br/>Close on the heels of killing of Lashkar-e-Taiba Divisional Commander and arrest of his associate, the Army and Police on Saturday captured another Lashkar-e-Taiba militant from Kishtwar district.<br/><br/>With his arrest Police claims to have wiped out Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit in Thathri-Bunjwah area of Kishtwar district as only three Lashkar militants were active in these areas.
