Army pilot killed in Siachen glacier helicopter crash

An Army pilot was killed and another injured on Wednesday when the Cheetah helicopter they were flying crashed on the Siachen Glacier, the world's highest battlefield.

An army spokesperson said, the crash occurred at little before noon near Bhim post of the Army in Siachen Glacier in which one of the pilots died and another has been injured. AIR correspondent reports, efforts are on to evacuate the injured pilot from the crash site. Further details are awaited.
