In Arunachal Pradesh, Indian Army has organised a White Water River Rafting Expedition on Siyom River from Thumbin to Pangin in West Siang District.<br/><br/>The three-day expedition, which started on Friday, is an endeavour of the Indian Army to educate the populace in remote areas of Arunachal Pradesh about Indian Army and its challenges & opportunities.<br/><br/>The expedition team comprises of 21 Indian Army officers of various rank.<br/><br/>The team which had already covered around 85 km from the starting point interacted with local population of villages on the route to spread awareness about the life & opportunities offered by the Indian Army as well as about the various philanthropic causes undertaken by the Indian Army like disaster relief, medical camps etc.<br/><br/>The expedition will come to end on Sunday.
