General Officer Commanding of Vajra Corps Lt. Gen. J.S. Cheema has said that Army is operationally ready to take on any challenges at any given time. <br/><br/>Speaking to media at Jalandhar Cantonment on the sidelines of the Golden Jubilee Commemoration of 1965 war with Pakistan, Gen. Cheema said that Indian Army is capabale of taking head on on any kind of warfare and threat perception.<br/><br/>On this occasion, Vajra Coprs, which is known as 'Defenders of Punjab' for playing a pivotal role in shaping the history of India, remembered its martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty during the war. War veterans and 'Veer Naris' were also honoured.<br/> <br/>Gen. Cheema and other serving and retired officers paid tributes to the martyrs of the 65' war at Vajra Shaurya Sathal.
