In Iraq, an army officer and a policeman were killed on Monday day in a roadside bomb blast in the south of Baghdad. According to police, the incident took place when the army was patrolling in the city of of Mussayib, 60 kilometres south of Baghdad. Police said 16 people including three soldiers and two policemen were injured in the blast.
