In Jammu & Kashmir, the ongoing anti-militancy operation in north Kashmir's Kupwara district has entered into fifth day today since the launch of operation on Friday. An Army Commanding Officer died while a total of 5 other security personnel including 4 Army jawans sustained injuries in the ongoing operation. <br/><br/>The cordon and search operation is in progress to track down militants who are believed to have infiltrated into this side of Line of Control on 31st of last month. More reinforcement of troops, para commandos and SOG of State Police, have been rushed to the encounter area. Lt Gen DS Hooda, Army Commander, Northern Command expressed deep condolences on the loss of this brave Commanding Officer.
