In Bahrain, Army have been off the streets, responding to a key demand by the opposition for starting a dialogue. According to a government statement, Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa who is also the deputy supreme commander of the armed forces has ordered the withdrawal of all-military from the streets with immediate effect. He has been designated to open a dialogue with protest leaders. The statement adds that the Bahrain police force will continue to oversee law and order.Meanwhile reports say that riot police fired tear gas at people trying to gather at Pearl Square for celebrating the army withdrawal from the square and detained at least 10 people.Earlier, opposition had demanded the resignation of the government, withdrawal of security forces from the streets providing right to assembly and peaceful demonstrations before talks.At least 50 people were injured when police opened fire on anti-regime protesters in the capital Manama last evening. The protestors were defying a government ban and marching toward the landmark Pearl square that had been the symbolic center of the uprising.
