Army man injured in terror attack in South Kashmir

In Jammu & Kashmir, an army man was injured today when terrorists attacked an army search party during a crackdown in South Kashmir's Shopian district. Sources said that army cordoned off Theorno village in the Imam Sahab area of Shopian, which is around 58 Kms in south of Srinagar headquarters. <br/><br/>Sources said that during crackdown, holding house-to-house searches in Theorno, terrorists fired few shots on army search party near adjoining hamlet Wotera. One armyman of 44 RR was injured in the firing. <br/><br/>Later, reinforcements were rushed to the area and operation launched to nab the attackers. Reports said the terrorists succeeded in escaping from the area. Meanwhile, separatist leader Yasin Malik was detained on his way to South Kashmir's Pulwama to express solidarity with the family of youth killed in firing by government forces yesterday.
