At least 25 militants have been killed and several others injured as security forces jets bombed insurgents hideouts in the northwest tribal area of Pakistan. According to local TV channel four hideouts of militants were targeted in Upper Orakzai on Thursday. In another incident, at least four militants were killed and two others injured in a clash with Pakistani security forces in Tehsil Jamrud of the restive Khyber Agency today. The clash occurred when militants attacked a security checkpoint in the insurgency plagued area bordering Afghanistan.
