In Jammu and Kashmir, Army today foiled an infiltration bid near the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri Sector of Baramulla district, killing three militants. A Defence spokesperson said that the operation is still on.The Army and BSF, guarding the Loc, have intensified vigil to prevent the militants from sneaking into this side from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.More than 100 militants have been killed in various operations in the Valley this year even as dozens of infiltration bids have been foiled in the last 10 months.
