In Jammu & Kashmir, one unidentified militant was killed when Army foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of North Kashmir's Kupwara district. An Army spokesman told AIR that two soldiers were also injured today in an ongoing operation against militants near the LoC in the Keran Sector. The spokesman said one rifle was recovered from the encounter site. He said both the injured jawans were evacuated for treatment and were stable. Sources said the operation against militants is going on well within this side of the LoC. Firing exchanges were going on till late evening.
