Army Commanders meet to begin in New Delhi from Monday

The Army Commander's Conference will start from Monday, in New Delhi. The Six day Conference will appraise current and emerging strategic security scenario, review of operational preparedness of the Indian Army and aspects pertaining to training, administration, military technology and force modernisation. <br/><br/>Defence minister Manohar Parrikar will address this high level Army Conference on first day. The Conference will be chaired by Chief of the Army Staff, Gen Dalbir Singh. All Army Commanders and other senior Army Officers will attend the conference. There will be a structured interaction with senior officials of the MoD including the Defence Secretary.
