Army Chief General Bipin Rawat today visited injured Central Reserve Police Force, CRPF Commandant Chetan Cheetah, who is undergoing treatment at the AIIMS Trauma Centre in New Delhi. Later speaking to media, General Rawat said, the officer is now in good condition.<br/><br/>Chetan Cheeta was severely injured in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora encounter on Tuesday as the Commandant of the 45th Battalion of CRPF sustained multiple gunshots during the battle which saw him take out a top Lashkar commander. He was later airlifted to AIIMS trauma centre.<br/><br/>Earlier, Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju had visited AIIMS to enquire the health of Cheeta. He said that he is being treated by the best doctors and assured that the government would extend its support in every possible way.
