The Army Chief Gen. V.K. Singh today rejected any alarming situation arising out of reported Chinese incursion in Ladakh. Talking to reporters in New Delhi today on the sidelines of an NCC function, he said the so-called intrusions take place due to perceptional differences about the line of actual control (LAC) between India and China. He said that this is an issue which is being addressed by the two countries through discussion.Gen Singh said the area where the reported chinese incursion took place two months ago in Demchok in Ladakh,is out of bounds for any construction work .He said, unfortunately such activities were being pushed by some people for local gains.
