Army Chief General MM Narwane reaches Leh on 2-day visit to Ladakh

<span style="color: #222222;">Chief of Army Staff General MM Narwane reached Leh on a Two day visit to Ladakh, today.<br />'' <br />'' Army General is visiting Leh for the second time after the recent stand-off at Line of Actual Control in the Eastern Ladakh.<br />'' <br />'' AIR correspondent reports, after a violent stand-off in the Galwan River Valley on 15th June, the Chief of Army Staff General MM Narwane is in LADAKH for a Two day visit.<br />'' <br />'' General MM Narwane arrived in Leh Tuesday afternoon. This is second time Army Chief is in LEH after a near two months old stand-off with China in Eastern Ladakh region.<br />'' <br />'' On his arrival General Narwane visited Army Hospital in LEH to interact with the injured Soldiers in Galwan stand-off.<br />'' <br />'' He enquired about their well being and treatment at the hospital. This was a morale boosting interaction for the gallant soldiers.<br />'' <br />'' Later in the evening, General Narwane met Ladakh MP Jamyang Tsering Namgyal at the Hall of Fame in LEH.<br />'' <br />'' Alongwith the General Narwane, Northern Command LtGenl YK Joshi, GoC of the Fire and Fury  LtGenl Harvinder Singh are also present.<br />'' <br />'' In an hour long Meeting, Ladakh MP appealed for border infrastructure, key strategic alternatives and for a dedicated Eastern Ladakh core.<br />'' <br />''<br />''General MM Narwane will have series of meetings with local Army officials tomorrow.</span>
