Army has been called in to maintain law and order situation in Kokrajhar district of Assam. Disclosing this to AIR, IGP of Boro Territorial Autonomous District S N Singh said, eleven additional Para military and police forces have been deployed. Assam government has also deputed 10 additional senior police officials to maintain law and order.

Another two bodies recovered today near the Railway Bridge on Gaurang River .With this, the death toll has gone up to 11 .
