In Jammu & Kashmir, Army yesterday busted a militant hideout and recovered a huge cache of arms, ammunitions and war like stores, in North Kashmir's Kupwara district. Defence spokesman told AIR that a joint operation by Army and Police was launched on a tip off in early hours wherein concerted search was carried out in forested Mughalpora area in Kupwara district, around 108 Kms in north of Srinagar headquarters. He said that around 0815 hrs, one hideout was busted under the tree trunk and huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered which included 1 AK 56 Rifle, Pika Belt without rounds, 1 Chinese pistol, 7 UBGL Grenades, 2 Pakistani Grenades, 2 Smoke Grenades, 1 Chinese Grenade, M-16 Rifle Rounds and 2 Radio Sets.
