<br/>In Assam, the Security forces on Friday recovered a huge cache of arms belonging to the surrendered extremists belonging to black widow group of Dima Halam Daoga (DHD) from a forest in Dima Hasao Hill district.<br/><br/>According to the Police, a join team of the Police, Army and National Investigation Agency (NIA) personnel recovered the large quantity of arms from a jungle located between Dehangi and Gunjung of the district as per the revelation made by Niranjan Hojai, the commander in chief of extremist group belonging to Jewel group of Dima Halam Daoga who was arrested in Nepal last week.<br/><br/>The haul included 28 AK-47 Rifles, 11-SLR, 5 M-16 Rifles and 2 other Rifles. The arms belonging to the surrendered extremists of the group were concealed in the jungle covered by the plastic.<br/><br/>AIR Silchar correspondent L T K Singh reports that on the second October of the last year, over 360 members of the extremist group belonging to black widow group of DHD bade farewell to jungle life and joined in the national mainstream at a grand function held at Haflong,the district headquarters of Dima Hasao District in presence of Assam Chief Minister, Shri Tarun Gogoi.
