Several activities will be undertaken by the Armed Forces on Sunday  to show the solidarity of the frontline soldiers with the Corona Warriors. Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat yesterday announced that the three services will carry out a series of activities to thank the corona warriors.<br />'' <br />'' Welcoming the announcement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Indian  Armed Forces have always kept the nation safe. He said,  even in times of disasters, they are out there helping people and now, our Forces are, in a unique way, saying a big thank you to our frontline COVID-19 warriors for their endeavour towards making India COVID-19 free. He said,  India has waged a strong fight against COVID-19 due to courageous frontline warriors who have cared and cured many. They are spectacular. India applauds them and their families.<br />'' <br />''  Home Minister Amit Shah has also complimented the Chief of Defence Staff and Armed forces for their decision to thank the Corona Warriors. Mr.Shah said in a tweet that  the Corona Warriors  are working relentlessly to keep our nation safe against the menace of COVID-19. The Home Minister said, the decision of Armed forces will greatly boost the morale and confidence of our doctors, health workers, sanitisation staff, security and media personnel. Mr. Shah  said, we as a nation stand united to thank our Corona warriors in these testing times.<br />'' <br />'' The  armed forces have made elaborate arrangements to express gratitude to doctors, paramedic, sanitation staff and other frontline workers engaged in fighting the coronavirus pandemic. <br />'' <br />'' The armed forces will organise fly past by fighter and transport aircrafts of the Indian Air Force from Srinagar to Thiruvanthapuram and from Dibrugaarh to Kacchh. The helicopters from Air Force and Navy will shower flower petals on the Hospitals treating Covid patients.<br />'' <br />'' The Navy and Coast Guard will move ships in formations at sea at select locations while Army bands will visit COVID hospitals and play tunes outside the hospitals in an expression of gratitude to the Corona Warriors. All three service Chiefs will lay wreath at the Police Memorial Sunday morning in New Delhi to honour the efforts of police personnel for their exceptional and<br />'' heroic efforts. The aerial salute to the Corona Warriors will be planned over Delhi between 10 to 10.30 AM.<br />'' <br />'' A number of aircraft of Indian Air Force are planned to do a fly past over Delhi and NCR region to salute the brave corona warriors. Fighter aircraft formations, comprising of the Sukhoi-30,  MiG-29 and Jaguar will be flying over Rajpath, and will orbit over Delhi which  will be visible to the residents of Delhi from their roof tops. In addition, C-130 transport aircraft will follow a similar profile. <br />'' <br />'' The aircraft will be flying at an approximate height of 500 meters to 1000 meters keeping Aerospace safety in mind especially in respect of bird activity.Additionally, helicopters are planned to carry out petal drop over National Police Memorial at 9 AM followed by Delhi hospitals between 10 to  10.30 AM including AllMS, GTB Hospital, Loknayak Hospital, Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, Safdarjang Hospital and  Army Hospital. <br />'' <br />'' The efforts of the COVID-19 Warriors  will also be appreciated by Indian Coast Guard by illuminating the ships at 25 locations covering the entire coastline of the country.A total of 46 ICG ships and around 10 helicopters will take part in the initiative. <br />''  <br />
