Senior BJP leader Arjun Munda was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand today. The oath of Secrecy was administered by the Governor M.O.H. Farooq in Ranchi. After that, AJSU Chief Sudesh Mahto and leader of the JMM Legislature Party in the Jharkhand Assembly Hemant Soren were also sworn in. All the three took oath in Hindi at a simple function . Senior BJP leaders like Ravi Shankar Prasad, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, S.S. Ahluwalia, Vijay Goel, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, JMM chief Shibu Soren were present in the function. Almost all the MLAs of Jharkhand Assembly alongwith leader of Opposition, Rajendra Prasad Singh were also present in the function. Before the oath taking ceremony, the Chief Secreatry of Jharkhand, Dr. A.K. Singh announced the lifting of President rule in the State.
