Two-time champions Argentina have started their 2010 World Cup Football campaign in style.
In a Group B clash at the Elis Park stadium in Johannesburg today, they beat Nigeria 1-0. Gabriel Heinze scored the all-important goal in the sixth minute of the first half.
Lionel Messi sparkled in the entire 90 minutes with his deft footworks and lovely run-ins but Nigerian custodian
Vincent Enyeama prevented him from scoring.
The victory has given Argentina full three points.
