Ace archer Deepika Kumari has regained the World number one ranking in the latest world rankings released today after the third stage World Archery Championship held in Paris.
 
Deepika created a new record by winning three gold medals in a single day along with winning the gold medal in the Individual Women's Recurve event.
 
After retaining the World No. 1 title, Deepika today specially thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for praising her in the 78th episode of 'Mann Ki Baat' through Twitter.
 
In her tweet, she thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi who had mentioned about Deepika Kumari and hardships faced by her.
 
Deepika is the only female archer to represent the country at the Tokyo Olympics.
 
On Deepika's achievement, President of Archery Association of India and Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda congratulated all the archers who won medals in the World Cup Archery.
