The Secretary General of the Arab League, Nabil al Arabi has held talks in Damascus with President Bashar al-Assad as the Syrian Army continues to suppress dissent in the country. Nabil al Arabi is expected to bring the Arab League's proposals for political reforms but Damascus says, it had not accepted interference in its internal affairs. Syrian State television ignored the visit in its news summary.
