Commodore Rabi Ahluwalia took over the charge of Naval Officer In-Charge (NOIC), West Bengal and Commanding Officer INS Netaji Subhash, on Sunday in Kolkata. Cmde Ravi Ahluwalia was commissioned in July 1986 as a Naval Officer. An alumnus of National Defence Academy, Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), Naval War College, he is a Gunnery and Missile Specialist and has served as Surface Missile Officer and as Surface to Air Missile Officer of various frontline destroyers of Indian Navy. He served as Commodore of Yard (Mumbai) in his last assignment.
