In Kerala, the Chief Electoral Officer Teeka Ram Meena informed that Government departments, their heads, Public sector enterprises etc. should submit applications for relaxations in Model Code of Conduct if necessary, to a screening committee headed by the Chief Secretary. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The applications should be forwarded to the Election Commission only if the screening committee scrutinizes and recommends them for consideration.
