In Andhra Pradesh, the Rail Roko agitation continue to cripple the transport services in the Telangana region on the second day today. Rail Transport has been badly hit in the region since yesterday following a 48-hour long Rail Roko agitation called by Telangana Joint Action Committee as part of its ongoing General Strike demanding statehood. Commuters continue to face hardship as a number of long distance and passenger trains that passes through the region remained off the tracks. Meanwhile, state government has made elaborate arrangements for conducting Group-I examinations from this morning across the state. Tight security arrangements have been made in Hyderabad and Warangal for smooth conduct of the examinations which will continue till October 3rd.
