AP: Talks with striking electricity employees underway; Power crisis in coastal Andhra & Rayalaseema continues

In Andhra Pradesh, talks are underway between leaders of striking electricity employees and the State Government. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and four-member Group of Ministers are taking part in the talks.

Earlier, State Chief Secretary and Group of Ministers held talks with the striking electricity employees this afternoon. The 13 districts of Rayalaseema and Coastalandhra regions remain in darkness due to electricity employees strike for the past three days.

Curfew will be relaxed for two hours tomorrow morning in Vizianagarma where pro-united Andhra agitation turned violent last week. District collector Kantilal Dande told reporters that there was no violent incident reported fro the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, normal life in Seemandhra regions remained hit due to power crisis.
