In Andhra Pradesh, six more IPS officers have been appointed as election during Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula Assembly by poll to be held tomorrow. State Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwarlal told the media in Hyderabad today that these IPS officers are in addition to the 11 central observers already appointed. He said all arrangements are in place for tomorrow’s polling to be held between 8 AM and 5PM. He said two to eight armed police personnel will be deployed at each of 1512 polling stations. For the first time, finger prints of electors will be recorded to ensure free and fair election. Over 13 lakh voters will exercise their franchise during the by poll. The by election is being held following resignation of sitting members.
