In Andhra Pradesh, security has been tightened in the old city of Hyderabad after MIM Legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi injured in an attack yesterday. Additional forces including state special police force and OCTOPUS have been deployed in the old city of Hyderabad to maintain Law and Order. The MIM MLA was seriously injured in the attack when he was returning from a Government Programme in his constituency. One of the attackers died and two more injured. State Home Minister P. Sabitha Indra Reddy said the city has been put on high alert the situation is under control. Special teams of police have been constituted to nab the persons responsible for the attack. Meanwhile, one of the accused in the incident has been arrested by city police. Hyderabad MP and Akbaruddin’s elder brother Asaduddin Owaisi said the attack was a conspiracy by those people who could not challenge him politically. Akbar’s health condition is being monitored round the clock and he has been shifted to another private Hospital in Banjara hills last night for treatment. The medical bulletin says his condition is stable after removal of two bullets.
