In Andhra Pradesh, the train services have been disrupted following heavy rain in different parts of the state. Flood water is spilling over the track at several places in Warangal and Khammam districts due to heavy downpour yesterday.The authorities in a release late last evening said several express trains from Secunderabad to Kakinada , Machilipatnam and Visakhapatnam have been cancelled in both directions due inundation of track. Several long distance trains including Grand Trunk and Jammu Tavi -Chennai express trains were halted at various points in Warangal district. Several other trains have been diverted and halted at different places on Kazipet-Vijayawada section.Special Engineering teams have been rushed to the affected areas to monitor the situation. Special refund counters also have been set up at all important stations.
